So I went ot the brother in laws this afternoon to help errect a swing contraption thing for my nephews 2nd birthday. Good times, good laugh and put up fairly quick.
Unfortunately thats when the drinking started. Had a beer or three deep now and being such a light weight these days I am struggling slightly to find the keys!Ha!
downloaded and amended the iPod today with a load of new music...
Listening to relics at the moment which goes rather nicely with my slightly lesss than coherent state! Looking forward to a Major ipod shuffle playing tomorrow on a long run of indetermined length!?
Am slightly obsessed with Hazards of Love at the moment as its not left the car audio for some time now...the Bowie is always a goood choice (back me up here
Went running again with the kids yesterday after already doing 4.2 mesel. The Biggun is really beginining to surprise me with his stamina...the SM is not! He was just annoying yesterday! As usual, fancied the idea then was a pain doing it!
Anyroad, gotta go..had me summons....try to sober up perhaps..!?!??
- Mood:
slightly merry - Listening to::Pink Floyd - Relics

Pablo Honey - got it, like 'Creep' and 'Anyone can play guitar' (no they can't!) and it reminds me of early 90's stuff, so all good. I prefer early Radiohead to the more recent stuff so this is one of the better ones I think.
Hazards of love is in my car too, and is the only album on the ipod at the moment. It is very addictive. Love it!
Hope you managed to sober up enough to be of some use...
x
hazards of love is still up there and i also am being obsessive with it at the moment!!
Considering the music collection that you have i reckon you're in a great position to comment!
I knew creep of course, and vaguely anyone can play guitar. But the rest is to be discovered.
what's obsessing you music wise at the moment?
One of the shows, oddly enough... is a Radiohead show.
Otherwise its been a lot of folk (Todd Snider) and industrial rock/metal (Ventana, Puscifer, the soundtrack to Underworld III).
Oh, and I recently discovered the Rolling Stones song "Dead Flowers" through this kinda folk singer Dax Riggs covering it. Its been stuck on repeat.
You might want to check out that site for downloads, if you already haven't. I've found some good live shows on it. (Radiohead, Todd Snider, Tool, Foo Fighters, Audioslave... although I now stick to "quieter" music on it as it seems to record better.)
