I went out running this morning whilst there was still a definite fug in the air. A smell from Bonfire Night last night I reckon.
I took this run as Marathon Training Plan practise. That is I tried to run it at the 7:48 pace that they recommend in the first 4 weeks. Hard to be consistent though even with Mr Garmins help!
In the end I got a bit fed up of it to be honest and just ran the rest of the 8.5 mile route out.
As for the training plan (Smart Coach from Runners World) that's due to start next week, I may take the pace timings with a pinch of salt.
Or am I missing the point?
